Marquette waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They took their game with ease, bagging a 99-48 victory over the Gladstone Braves. Given the Redmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Braves are ranked 446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marquette pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.5 points per game. As for Gladstone, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marquette will square off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gladstone, they will venture away from home to square off against Kingsford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
