Football Recap: Berkshire's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkshire). They were the clear victors by a 52-32 margin over the Wickliffe Blue Devils on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Berkshire's victory came down to the chemistry between Addison Jones and her top target Kelly McCandless. Jones threw for 261 yards and eight touchdowns while McCandless picked up 137 receiving yards and four scores. What's more, Jones racked up 141.2 passer rating, the most she's had since back in March.

Berkshire didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Caitlyn Rucinski, Ivy Martin, and Jillian Smetana picked up one apiece.

The win keeps Berkshire at an undefeated 11-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.9 points this season. As for Wickliffe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Berkshire wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-26 win against Harding on the 12th. Wickliffe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
