Henryville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-52 win over the Rock Creek Academy Lions. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 87-43 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Henryville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Manon Gant out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine steals. Wyatt Owens was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henryville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Rock Creek Academy, they will face off against Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
