Volleyball Game Preview: Waukesha West Wolverines vs. Catholic Memorial Crusaders

The Waukesha West Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Catholic Memorial Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waukesha West is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Waukesha West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Pewaukee, who was ranked tenth at the time (Waukesha West was ranked ninth). The Wolverines came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 12-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Catholic Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Mukwonago by a score of 3-2.

Catholic Memorial's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 18-13. As for Waukesha West, their victory bumped their record up to 21-8.
