Softball Game Preview: Richardson Eagles vs. Nimitz Vikings

The Richardson Eagles will square off against the Nimitz Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Richardson made easy work of Irving and carried off a 17-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Nimitz got the win against MacArthur on Tuesday by a conclusive 20-12. Considering the Vikings have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Richardson's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Nimitz, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Everything went Richardson's way against Nimitz in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Richardson made off with a 16-5 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
