Big Game from Rush-Esdaile As Barnegat Won 22-21

Starting off the list is Barnegat's Myquan Rush-Esdaile, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rush-Esdaile rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Barnegat's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Rush-Esdaile and Barnegat are taking a road trip to square off against New Egypt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Manchester Township is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Lunn and Manchester Township will venture away from home to face off against Point Pleasant Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 106 Rushing Yards from Rahmel Anderson

Rahmel Anderson continued his hot streak on Saturday by dropping his 13th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 106 rushing yards. He rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

If the past is any indication, Anderson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Keansburg on Saturday. When Anderson last faced the Titans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 260 yards while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

On the season, Phillips has averaged 25.5 receiving yards per game.
