Softball Recap: St. Michaels Comes Up Short

St. Michaels lost against Colonel Richardson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Saints lost 15-5 to the Colonels. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Michaels saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayleigh Burkhardt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Ayla Gowe was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

St. Michaels now has a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michaels will welcome Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colonel Richardson, they will square off against North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
