Basketball Game Preview: Tenafly Tigers vs. Lyndhurst Golden Bears

The Tenafly Tigers and the Lyndhurst Golden Bears will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lyndhurst took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tenafly, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, everything went Tenafly's way against Dwight Morrow as Tenafly made off with a 68-48 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Lyndhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Rutherford.

Lyndhurst's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tenafly, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Tenafly came out on top in a nail-biter against Lyndhurst in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 79-76. Will Tenafly repeat their success, or does Lyndhurst have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
