Brady Anderson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Beachside is 5-2 when Anderson allows one or fewer earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Anderson and Beachside will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Providence School at 6:30 p.m. The Barracudas will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 82 places lower in Florida), but they're not letting that get them down.
