Volleyball Recap: Downsville Comes Up Short

Downsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers.

Downsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lake Charles College Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Downsville and Lake Charles College Prep will both be playing Alexandria the next time they take the court. The Demons will host the Trojans at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trailblazers will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
