Beloit skates past Minneapolis with ease

Recap: Beloit Trojans vs. Minneapolis Lions

Make it seven blowout wins for the Beloit Trojans this season. They blew past Minneapolis 58-21 on the road. Given Beloit's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Minneapolis is ranked 243rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Bryce Beisner, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Eilert, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.

Beloit's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Minneapolis, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Beloit will head out on the road to face off against Republic County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Republic County has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for Minneapolis, they will be playing at home against Sacred Heart on Friday.
