After a string of eight wins, Hanford's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 5-0 to the Richland Bombers. The match marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Hanford's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-2. As for Richland, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Hanford and Richland should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Falcons (ranked fifth) will meet Walla Walla (ranked 130th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richland will face off against Pasco at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (1 vs. 209).
