Basketball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

If Versailles was riding high fresh off their 48-23 takedown of Cole Camp last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Versailles Tigers were outmatched by the Iberia Rangers and fell 62-28. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Iberia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Acelyn Bauer led the charge by going 7 for 12 on her way to 19 points. Those 19 points gave Bauer a new career-high. Jaylyn Piggott was another key player, going 6 for 9 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds.
