Baseball Recap: Norwich Takes a Loss

Norwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-3 to the Waverly Wolverines. The Purple Tornado were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Norwich saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Brown, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Norwich will face off against Sidney at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waverly, they will venture away from home to face off against Union-Endicott at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
