Trinity Presbyterian took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Alabama Christian Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 12-10. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 10-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Mae Mae Milton, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024. Emory Harris also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Trinity Presbyterian and bumps their season record up to 8-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Alabama Christian Academy will head out to take on Prattville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Presbyterian will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles faces off against Montgomery Academy, they'll take on Trinity Presbyterian again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
