Portland Christian had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-5 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Gaston Greyhounds 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Royals: when they faced off against the Greyhounds on Tuesday, they had to take a 7-5 loss.
Donovan Endres and Evan Satre did most of the damage at the plate: Endres got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Satre got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Satre has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Mazurowski, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
