Volleyball Recap: Brookhaven Takes a Loss

If Brookhaven was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Natchez on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Sumrall Bobcats on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Brookhaven's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Sumrall, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

Coming up, Brookhaven will welcome Laurel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sumrall, they will head out on the road to take on West Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
