 Wetumpka stacked  a  13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They never let the Elmore County Panthers onto the board and left with  a   6-0  win. The  victory was nothing new for Wetumpka as they're now sitting on 15 straight.
  Mya Holt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Holt has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Holt was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  triples, two  runs,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Riley Dismukes was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.  Lily Davenport was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Wetumpka pushed their record up to 24-2 with that  win, which was their ninth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs per game. As for Elmore County, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4.
 Wetumpka will take on Northside at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Elmore County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marbury at 6:00  p.m.  on April 1st.
