It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Kennedy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They beat the Blair Blazers by a goal, winning 3-2. The victory was all the more spectacular given Kennedy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Blair are ranked 26th).

The win got Kennedy back to even at 3-3. As for Blair, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-2-1 record.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will take on Watkins Mill at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Blair, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
