Baseball Recap: Glendale Prep Academy Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Glendale Prep Academy hadn't done well against Camp Verde recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Griffins put the hurt on the Cowboys with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Griffins, who have now won four contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Logan Middendorf made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Corbin Kim, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Simms, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
