Softball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Belleville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Wednesday.

Glenn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylie Sansom, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Belleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Glenn is taking a road trip to take on Dearborn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Belleville, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Redford Union at 4:30 p.m.
