Baseball Recap: Mount Sinai Takes a Loss

Mount Sinai lost against Miller Place on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keith Hall and John Leonard stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hall scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Leonard scored a run and stole a base.

Mount Sinai now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Miller Place, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Mount Sinai will host Kings Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller Place, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shoreham-Wading River at 4:45 p.m. on the 22nd.
