Football Recap: Quaboag Regional Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Quaboag Regional had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Bartlett Indians. The Cougars lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-0 score last time.

As for Bartlett, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. That looming 48-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Lawrence Smith was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 151 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Quaboag Regional will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Bartlett, they will square off against Worcester Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
