James F. Byrnes entered their tilt with Dorman on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rebels have posted since March 14th.

James F. Byrnes pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Dorman, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7-1.
