Basketball Recap: Glenn Bobcats vs. R.J. Reynolds Demons
Glenn lost against R.J. Reynolds back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Glenn Bobcats lost 82-58 to the R.J. Reynolds Demons.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zyire Murphy, who posted 16 points along with seven boards and four steals. Murphy has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendrick Hines, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards.
Leading R.J. Reynolds to victory were Andreas Kazakos and Grant Burns. Kazakos went 7 of 10 on his way to 20 points and seven assists, while Burns went 7 of 17 on his way to 18 points and three steals. That's the most assists Kazakos has posted since back in January of 2024. Tommy Elrod was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.
Glenn's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for R.J. Reynolds, their record now sits at 5-6.
