Volleyball Game Preview: Rangeview Raiders vs. Regis Groff Fusion

The Rangeview Raiders will face off against the Regis Groff Fusion at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rangeview is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Rangeview came up short against Denver East and fell 3-1.

Rangeview was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Denver East work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 21-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Regis Groff made easy work of Denver South on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fusion.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Regis Groff took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-10.

Regis Groff pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rangeview, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Rangeview couldn't quite get it done against Regis Groff when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
