Basketball Recap: Woodford County Takes a Loss

Woodford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 58-48 to the South Laurel Cardinals.

Woodford County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for South Laurel, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

Coming up, Woodford County will challenge George Rogers Clark at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Laurel, they will square off against Harlan County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Laurel knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Harlan County likes a good challenge.
