Baseball Recap: John Marshall Takes a Loss

John Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Prince Edward County Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Justices of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Chris Stallings made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. That run was his first of the season.

John Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Prince Edward County, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Marshall will square off against Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Prince Edward County, they will face off against Lunenburg Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
