Volleyball Recap: Eastern Starts off Right with Win over Miller

Eastern gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Miller Falcons 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-11.

Eastern found their leader in freshman Emeri Lloyd, who had 19 digs and three assists.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Waterford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miller, they will square off against Wellston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
