Volleyball Game Preview: Taft Eagles vs. Whitney Young Dolphins

The Taft Eagles will face off against the Whitney Young Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitney Young took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Taft, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Taft beat Senn 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Taft never let Senn on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Whitney Young unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loyola Academy.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Whitney Young, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Taft was able to grind out a solid victory over Whitney Young when the teams last played back in April, winning 2-0. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Dolphins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
