Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Sunnyside Wildcats

For the second straight game, Roosevelt will face off against Sunnyside. The Rough Riders will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight defeats, while Sunnyside will come in with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, Roosevelt came up short against Sunnyside and fell 6-1.

Brian Roberson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Sunnyside's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-13. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10-1.
