Basketball Recap: Tonopah Valley Phoenix vs. American Leadership Academy - West Foothills Guardians
The Tonopah Valley Phoenix lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by American Leadership Academy - West Foothills on the road and fell 69-41. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tonopah Valley in their matchups with the Guardians: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Tonopah Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sir-Izzik Sanchez-Caldwell. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points.
Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for American Leadership Academy - West Foothills, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.
