Baseball Recap: Medina Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Medina faced off against New Braunfels Christian Academy on Friday. The Medina Bobcats lost 22-2 to the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Medina moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Medina and Our Lady of the Hills will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th. Medina has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Knippa at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. New Braunfels Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
