Monmouth Academy extended their winning streak to six on Monday, bumping their season record up to 6-0 in the process. They came out on top against the St. Dominic Saints by a score of 10-7. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

As for St. Dominic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For St. Dominic's part, Emily Andrews made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Piper Croteau was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Monmouth Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Maine Central Institute on the 14th. As for St. Dominic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 victory against Mount View on the 14th.
