Volleyball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rich Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-3.

Among those leading the charge was Tyla Pugmire, who had seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave her a new career-high.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Altamont has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Manila on the 23rd. As for Rich, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against South Summit on the 23rd.
