St. Margaret came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Laguna Beach Breakers 3-0. This was payback for the Tartans, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

One reason for the win was St. Margaret's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-10.

St. Margaret's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. As for Laguna Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
