Volleyball Recap: Fullerton's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Fullerton can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They skirted past South Loup 2-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory South Loup walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Ava Smith was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for South Loup, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Fullerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ravenna on the 11th. As for South Loup, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gibbon on the 11th.
