Volleyball Recap: Springstead Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hernando Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Springstead, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Hernando Christian Academy Lions 3-0 on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8, 25-16.

Aubrie Gelm was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and five aces.

Gelm wasn't the only good server: Springstead was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matchups.

Springstead pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
