Preview: Mackinaw City Comets vs. Rudyard Bulldogs
The Mackinaw City Comets will stay at home for another game and welcome the Rudyard Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Mackinaw City is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rudyard in Michigan (Mackinaw City is ranked 170th, while Rudyard is ranked 682nd).
Last Monday, Mackinaw City beat Mackinac Island 43-36.
Meanwhile, Rudyard's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Monday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mid Peninsula.
Mackinaw City pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.8 points. As for Rudyard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
