Basketball Recap: Pewaukee Triumphs

Pewaukee posted their closest win since February 3rd on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the West Allis Central Bulldogs 77-74. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Pewaukee and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for West Allis Central, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Pewaukee will take on Homestead in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Allis Central and Oshkosh North will round out the year against one another at at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. West Allis Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Oshkosh North likes a good challenge.
