The Moulton Bobkatz will face off against the Leakey Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Moulton comes in on three and Leakey on four.

Moulton proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past SA S 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobkatz have posted since March 18th.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Leakey had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on Bruni with a sharp 21-1 win on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won 15 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Anna (AK) Fortner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
