Queen's Grant put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Langtree Charter Academy Lions get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. 13 seems to be a good number for the Stallions as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Addi Benton made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Saniya Williams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Abby Sanders, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Queen's Grant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Langtree Charter Academy only managed one hit.

Queen's Grant pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Queen's Grant will host Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Queen's Grant is facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. Langtree Charter Academy has given up an average of 16.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
