Soccer Game Preview: South Davidson vs. East Davidson

South Davidson hasn't had much luck against East Davidson recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. South Davidson is taking a road trip to face off against East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. South Davidson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

South Davidson had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt North Rowan on Tuesday. South Davidson was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over North Rowan. That three goal margin sets a new team best for South Davidson this season.

Meanwhile, East Davidson fell victim to Salisbury and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 3-0. East Davidson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for South Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

South Davidson couldn't quite get it done against East Davidson in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can South Davidson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
