Soccer Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short

After flying high against ALA - Anthem South last Monday, Coolidge came back down to earth. The Coolidge Bears fell 2-0 to the San Miguel Vipers on Wednesday.

Coolidge was without their leading scorer, Isaac Ramirez, in Wednesday's contest. With Ramirez sitting this one out, Jose Montano got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 55).

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for San Miguel, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

After both having extra time off, Coolidge and Benjamin Franklin will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for San Miguel, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Morenci at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
