After flying high against Hialeah last Thursday, Hialeah Gardens came back down to earth. The Gladiators fell just short of the Norland Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Gladiators' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hialeah Gardens wouldn't go down easily and took Norland into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-27, 23-25, 15-10.

Hialeah Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Norland, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Hialeah Gardens will venture away from home to take on Goleman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Gladiators their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Norland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
