Baseball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Bay Rockets

For the second straight game, Normandy will face off against Bay. The Invaders will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Normandy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Normandy blew Bay out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Bay got their revenge. The Invaders fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-0. The Invaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Bay's part, the result came thanks to Will Schrock's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. Schrock has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Sedivec, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack McManamon, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The win snapped Bay's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for Normandy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
