After a string of five wins, the Trenton Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison County. Trenton has struggled against Madison County recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Trenton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Owens, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zander Grant, who scored eight points.

Trenton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Madison County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.
