Soccer Game Preview: West Noble vs. Elkhart

The West Noble Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Elkhart Lions at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Elkhart better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if West Noble's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when West Noble really gets things going. The Chargers' defense stepped up to hand Garrett a 5-0 shutout. Sebastian Carrillo was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Elkhart waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Huskies. Give Elkhart's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

West Noble's record is now 10-3-1. As for Elkhart, their record now sits at 11-2.
