Soccer Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jefferson Mustangs, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Jefferson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Burbank's loss dropped their record down to 6-14-2. As for Jefferson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7-3.

Coming up, Burbank will challenge Seguin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will take on Brackenridge at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Brackenridge's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
