Basketball Game Preview: De Anza Dons vs. Concord Bears + Official Tickets

The De Anza Dons will venture away from home to face off against the Concord Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (De Anza has three straight wins, Concord has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, De Anza didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Elite, but they still walked away with a 50-46 victory.

Meanwhile, Concord played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 61-22 defeat at the hands of Clayton Valley Charter. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-11.

De Anza now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

De Anza came up short against Concord in their previous meeting back in November of 2021, falling 64-60. Thankfully for the Dons, Koko Penev (who shot 47% from the field to rack up 27 points in addition to six boards and five steals) won't be suiting up this time.
